Honduras and Ecuador are facing elimination if they can't get any goals into the net today, so hopefully both teams step it up and challenge France and Switzerland's positions in Group E.

This match also brings some mixed feelings from Ecuador's manager, Reinaldo Rueda, who coached Handoras in the previous World Cup tournament.

 "Obviously, it is a match I would have preferred to have avoided. I love the people of Honduras very much and the love I have for them will always be there, even though we have a very intense 90 minutes ahead of us," he said. "I think they play better football now, and I like the team a lot more than I did when I was in charge."

Rueda hopefully knows a bit of the opposition's weaknesses heading into this game, because Ecuador needs a win.

"We are aware of the challenge we face and we are enjoying it," Honduras's current coach, Fernando Suarez, said. "It is a privilege to be at a World Cup. To win games you have to score goals and you have to play well - we know it won't be easy but we leave the statistics to one side."
