Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland is most famous for her role of Haley Dunphy on the hit ABC comedy. Although she's only 23, she's a really hard worker and in a recent interview she revealed that she's actually a bit of a workaholic.
"I have an amazing work ethic. I love working, I'm a workaholic. So adding something like Swiffer to my table of things, this huge pile of things I'm dabbling in, I love it," Sarah told E! News while attending the Swiffer & ASCPA Celebrate Pet Adoption event in New York City last week.
In addition to work, Sarah has a lot to be happy about these days. Although she has been in the news recently for a less than ideal situation with her ex-boyfriend Matt Prokop, she has risen above it. The Geek Charming actress got a restraining order against her ex in early October, and now she's ready to move forward.
"There are two quotes that I want to say. One is a Dylan Thomas poem, 'Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light,' which is one of my favorite poems," the star told Meredith Vieira on The Meredith Vieira Show — her episode airs Monday, Oct. 27 — via E! Online about getting through her personal life issues.
"It just strikes a chord in me, and also Robert Frost, 'The only way out is through.' People have to go through things in order to become the person they are today and that's that," she added.
In order to lighten the mood, Meredith asked the young actress about her celebrity doppelganger, Mila Kunis, and what it's like to be compared to the That '70s Show star.
"I think it's the biggest compliment ever, she's so beautiful. We have joked about this, too, where she's come up to me being like, 'OK, so people think I'm, like, you,'" Sarah told Meredith. "This was four years ago maybe and she was like, 'Sometimes I pretend to be you so I feel like I'm young.'"
