The Hollywood Reporter had the chance this week to sit down with some of the stars of the series to find out what they've learned from being on the show. For instance, portraying the family's patriarch, Zeek, has taught Craig T. Nelson one great lesson over the years.
"Patience," he explained. "Definitely patience."
Meanwhile, Lauren Graham has learned that the structure of a family is very important in difficult situations.
"I think for me, the thing I've gotten is when in doubt, gather a group," the actress said. "Just fill your house with people, and something good will happen."
That's some pretty great advice don't you think?
Krause, on the other hand, says he pays attention more and notices how much the show has touched its fans.
"I notice things more now when I see people out, like families and things like that. I pay more attention," he revealed. "And the people who do watch the show are incredibly devoted fans and really love the show. I can't tell you how many people have approached me this year and told me that they're incredibly sad the show is ending and they wish it would continue."
