Orange is The New Black will have one fewer cast member in Season 3, as Jason Biggs will not return as Larry for the Netflix series' third season.
Netflix confirmed to Variety that the actor would not be back for Season 3. Biggs played Larry Bloom, the ex-fiance of main character Piper Chapman, since the show's debut in 2013.
"They're not focusing on Larry at the moment," Biggs told the New York Daily News. "Larry will not be in season three. But there's always a possibility he can come back."
Orange Is The New Black has added another inmate to Litchfield in Season 3, as Australian model, DJ, and actress Ruby Rose has joined the cast.
Netflix confirmed to EW.com that Rose will play a prisoner named Stella Carlin "whose sarcastic sense of humor and captivating looks quickly draw the attention of some of Litchfield's inmates." Elle further describes the character as the "lust object of both Piper and Alex."
Orange Is The New Black has become one of the most popular shows around after its second season on Netflix, and fans have Season 3 to look forward to next year, despite some crazy rumors that the series had been canceled. But what can they expect when it returns?
The "Ask Ausiello" column at TVLine has some information on fan favorite character Crazy Eyes.
"Question: I just read that Orange Is the New Black was cancelled! Say it ain't so! -Jill
Ausiello: Back your nose away from the glue stick, Jill. OITNB will probably be around for at least another four seasons beyond its upcoming third. Speaking of which, after Suzanne was left sobbing in the wake of Vee's disappearance, Uzo Aduba says we will find Suzanne in a 'broken place' when Orange returns. '[Series creator] Jenji [Kohan] is playing with the idea of faith and belief. What is faith? What is it we choose to believe in?' Aduba shares. 'And [those questions] are true for Suzanne, as well.'"
