The penultimate episode of season 3 of Banshee definitely left us gutted. Stowe is clearly a more dangerous foe than anyone expected and Kai realizes he hasn't changed that much since his mother's death. Check out our episode recap of episode 9, "Even God Doesn't Know What to Make of You," right here! (SPOILERS to Follow)

Proctor is a hard man to torture; we know this thanks to flashbacks this season and, well, every episode so far in this series. Captured by the Black Beards that Rebecca has been screwing with, Kai handles his beatings quite well and even gets a bite of the muscle's nose! But an intimidating man from his past shows up, too, which might not be a great thing for Proctor. Check out this exchange here:
Hood gets back to Banshee after shooting Chayton's face off with a shotgun, and finally pays his respects at Siobhan's grave. Afterwards, he makes his way to Sugar's for a drink and catching up. Unfortunately, Job isn't too happy with him at the moment:
This leads to a flashback (we can tell almost right away because of Hood's clean-shaven look) of how Job and Lucas met. They teamed up after being double-crossed by their boss.
On the other side of town, Carrie is back at the diner, getting served divorce papers by Gordon. They decide that they're both not "sure" about officially separating in a touching moment.
Back at the gymnasium that is now a torture palace for Kai, the drug dealers catch up a bit. Proctor learns of Rebecca's dealings behind his back, leaving him in a position he's never been in before. This whole time, of course, Emily is learning about Kai's real business.
Rebecca actually goes to Hood to try and help Kai, but he sends her away. Fortunately, she runs into Brock tells him his ex-wife has also been captured. He convinces Hood to track down the Black Beards. Lucas needs to get in touch with Job, though, leading to another flashback. With the World Trade Center in the background, we can see just how far back they go.
Meanwhile, Stowe is tracking down Hood and his team, and we already know he's aware of Carrie involvement. His computer savvy friend, Leo makes a pretty big discovery, too.
Job tracks down phone activity for phones with Philadelphia area codes, thus finding the Black Beards. Job says this is the last time he's going to help Hood, leading to another flashback. Brock and Hood use their new information and find Kai and Emily. Hood negotiates Emily release, though she was pretty dumb and fought against it until Proctor told her to leave.
With Proctor still inside, Rebecca and Burton take things into their own hands. While being doused with gasoline, Kai gets the upper hand on his captors and fights back. By the time they get to him, Rebecca and Burton witness Kai setting three men on fire.
Kai ends up realizing he's still a crazy evil person and breaks up with Emily.
We get to see a bit more from Bunker, too, who has to deal with a lot thanks to his offensive tattoos. This leads to a bit of a montage, ending with some great action. He beats up some of his old skinhead friends and gives them a message to pass along to his brother, Calvin: he'll be seeing him soon!
Stowe gets Sugar, Job and Carrie, too, which was maybe something you saw coming, but we learned that the Colonel is a tough enemy to have:
Hood finds out that his friends are missing and might be getting Gordon to help him track everyone down.
