A talented voice actor can make or break the gameplay emersion of a video game, so it makes sense that one of 2015's most anticipated releases, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has acquired HBO's Game of Thrones actor Charles Dance to voice one of the title's big characters, Emhyr var Emreis. In a great new behind-the-scenes video from the developers over at CD Projekt RED, we get a great taste of this character and learn that Tywin Lannister is a fan of the upcoming video game, set to hit shelves on May 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

"It's a dream come true for the team here at RED to be able to work with such an accomplished actor and magnetic personality," lead writer of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Marcin Blacha said, according to the game's official website.
According to IGN, this new video shows Dance recording lines for his character and praising the new video game. He also expresses his excitement about getting into the gaming world as a voice actor, giving us a glimpse at Emperor Emhyr var Emreis, leader of the Empire of Nilfgaard.
At the start of this new behind-the-scenes video, Dance reveals that this is the first time he's worked on a video game.
"It's a whole new world for me," he admits. "It's quite exciting actually."
From there, the video shows off some gameplay footage as well as plenty of plot points featuring Dance's character. The actor also share some information about Emhyr var Emreis, explain that he could be the most powerful man in the video game.
"He doesn't need to throw his wait around," he tells us." He's a man of few words. The words he speaks, speak volumes. And he's ruthless because he has to be."
