Amy Schumer's talent and new movie, Trainwreck, have been getting a lot of buzz in regards to her GQ spread with famous Star Wars droids C-3PO and R2-D2 and the autobiographical content in the hit movie. However, when promoting Trainwreck in Australia, Schumer was interviewed by Jane Hall and Matt Tilley of KIIS 101.1, a popular radio station in the outback. Schumer maintained her poise and charisma when Tilley brought up inappropriate subject matter about his deceased mother, misinterpreting Schumer's film's message and story, and insulting Schumer by assuming that the word "skanky" isn't used in America.

What must go down as the most awkward interview we've seen is a bit of an understatement. Schumer was welcomed to talk about her new movie and was more than complimented by host, Hall, about not only the hilarity of Trainwreck and her expectations of the film, to Schumer's surprising emotional facets that she plugged into the plot regarding her character's father and family. Schumer then continues to open up as she usually does in her very honest and cathartic view on her own script and how "that was [her] ten years ago when [she] was a sophomore in college."

Hall continues to praise Schumer, saying that she has the best legs and Schumer explains how they put her in a lot of skirts and shorts that were just a bit too short. Tilley breaks in and asks if America uses the word "skanky," implying that Schumer's character in the movie (and possibly Schumer herself) is loose morally. From there on out, the conversation is stilted and awkward, but if Tilley was trying to make Schumer look bad, he was in no such luck. If anything, we can commend Schumer more for keeping herself calm and collected. She never even shows a reddening face of frustration as Tilley and Hall try to veer the conversation to a "skanky" co-worker of theirs who decided to trim her pubic hair at work.

It becomes quite horrendous and there's really no way to describe how uncomfortable and forced the interview is. Take a look for yourself and if you still haven't seen Trainwreck, you should. Tilley ended the interview by continuing to attempt to get a rise out of Schumer by saying, "It was the same with Russell Brand, I believe."
