IFC series Documentary Now! creators Bill Hader and Fred Armisen stopped by fellow co-creator Seth Meyers's Late Night to promote their new show in a way that only they could—by dressing up like an old 70s rock band and performing a very old, very catchy tune. Together, the Blue Jean Committee rocked the house with their hit single "Catalina Breeze."
"What a treat this is!" Meyers admitted, speaking to having the group on his program. According to him, the telling of the Blue Jean Committee's career will be a two-part series for the season finale of Documentary Now!
Donned in some 70s getup, some longer-than-normal hair, vests, head-to-toe denim (or blue jeans!) and a couple of pervy mustaches, the Blue Jean Committee undoubtedly took the NBC stage and made it their own.
Created by Armisen, Hader and Meyers, Documentary Now! is being executive produced by Broadway Video and Lorne Michaels, who of course is the one that kicked off the trio's careers on Saturday Night Live.
