While Sunday night's VMAs were filled with controversial moments, perhaps none were as serious as when actress Rebel Wilson took to the stage to "discuss" the fact that "a lot of people have problems with the police" nowadays. Of course, her comments led many to believe she was talking about an actual problem of police brutality, but things turned when she claimed to have been talking about police strippers. And while most of us were just confused, the Black Lives Matter movement reportedly took issue with her comments.

Donning the stage in a police uniform, Wilson soon ripped it off to show off a shirt she had underneath, which read: F*CK THE STRIPPER POLICE.

Shockingly enough, MTV's censors took quite a long while to cut away and/or blur the shirt.

Anyway, Salon.com is reporting that supporters of the #BlackLivesMatter movement are claiming that Wilson was making a mockery of the situation occurring in America, specifically Michael Brown, Freddie Gray, Sandra Bland, Eric Garner, and many more.

"They come to your house," Wilson said onstage, adding, "You think you're getting arrested, and you just get a lap dance and it's usually uninspired."

She continued, "I hired a police stripper for my grandma's 80th and he wouldn't even feel her up. Well, I paid an extra hundred dollars for her to get an erotic back massage, but it only lasted for one song! I hate this injustice, hence this shirt."

So, can we all agree Wilson's bit was a total miss?
