Victoria's Secret knows the youths love messaging apps. Instead of marketing on popular platforms like Snapchat or Kik, it made its own. The lingerie retailer has rolled out a mobile chat feature on it's shopping app, Pink, that lets shoppers participate in public message boards that have predetermined topics. Fashionista reports users can also customize their background colors and use branded emoticons. Giambattista Valli just announced his collaboration with MAC Cosmetics. In honor of the French fashion house's 10th anniversary, Valli is bringing his love for all things floral to lipstick in the form of five garden shades that have names like mandarin and peony. Burberry's new flagship store in Beverly Hills may be a high-tech shopper's dream come true. According to Christopher Bailey, the brand's chief creative officer and chief executive officer, his investment in technology at the Rodeo Drive location represents his ambitions to create a more personalized shopping experience across the entire brand. Topshop's latest sale is a little different. The retailer is auctioning off the dresses made for stars who attended the prestigious Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York back in May. The gowns worn by British model Jourdan Dunn, actress Zoe Kravitz, models Kendall Jenner, Toni Garrn and Chanel Iman were created by hand at Topshop's workshop in London. Read More »

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Foster now has two daughters hitting the fashion scene hard! Younger daughter Bella Hadid is following in her mother's footsteps. The 18-year-old younger sister of Gigi Hadid, who has already taking the fashion scene by storm, had her first magazine cover with the French magazie "Jalouse." "Jalouse Magazine has been hacked !!! Guilty WANTED dead or alive," the French publication wrote on Instagram. "Take a view of our december cover with mega cute Bella Hadid." Sephora has gotten itself into hot water after a 20 percent off sale in early November that crashed its site. Four women of Chinese descent have filed a class-action suit against the beauty retailer and LVMH, its parent company, for discriminating against minority customers. In this case, deactivating and blocking accounts of shoppers "of perceived Chinese/Asian descent based on the ill-founded and discriminatory belief that all Chinese/Asian customers abuse discount sales to engage in bulk purchase for re-sale." According to "Fashionista," the court filing states the Sephora site crashed Nov. 6, preventing any customers from accessing their accounts or making purchases, but later that evening the site was back up and running. As the retailer explained things on its Facebook site, the malfunctioning was due to "high levels of bulk buys for reselling purposes in North America and other countries" and a number of accounts it believed to be associated with that activity remained suspended. According to the plaintiffs, the blocked accounts belonged to "email addresses with names that appeared to signify Chinese/Asian race/ethnicity/national origin/descent" or Web domains originating in China or Asia. Hence the suit, which the four women — Xiao Xiao, Man Xu, Jiali Chen and Tiantian Zou — filed in the Southern District of New York U.S. District Court Tuesday, Nov. 18. Read More »

Alexander Wang is touching down in London. The brand plans to open its first UK shop on Albemarle Street in Mayfair by early 2015. It's the first European outpost for the designer, who already has stores in Tokyo, Beijing and New York. Wang will join brands including Paul Smith, Amanda Wakeley, Buccellati and Garrard & Co. on the street, which is fast evolving into a retail hotspot.
