Bossypants is at it again! Actor/writer/producer Tina Fey is collaborating again with Robert Carlock, who partnered with Fey on Netflix's Original Series The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, on a new comedy show for NBC. This is good news for the team seeing as the streaming series had originally been rejected by NBC and then subsequently picked up by Netflix. Tracey Wigfield of 30 Rock and The Mindy Project will executive produce the show, according to the Inquisitr, which reports that " insiders are confident that the show will get a series order. The new Tina Fey series is said to be about a young woman making her way up the career ladder at a cable network when her overbearing mother is hired as an intern." Read More »
"Same Chair. Different Ass," says the tagline of comedian Trevor Noah's first Daily Show promo. The comic, who will be replacing longtime host Jon Stewart, will take to that very same chair on Sept. 28. Stewart left the show back on Aug. 6 – delivering one stellar finale – and there has been much speculation from the media and fans alike as to how the young South African comic will do. Whether or not Bernie Sanders will be the next President of the United States remains to be seen. Tracy Morgan is heading back to Saturday Night Live! This time, however, he'll be serving as the host of his once-upon-a-time home. His episode, which will air on Oct. 17, will be preceded by the likes of Trainwreck star Amy Schumer and Season 41 premiere host Miley Cyrus.The 30 Rock lead's return to SNL is not only exciting because Morgan is hilarious, but also because it'll be one of his first performances since that horrifying car accident back in 2014.
