The first DWTS 2013 results show for season 16 that premiered Monday night (3/26) revealed a shocking first elimination (or should we call it "drop out"). Olympic figure skater Dorothy Hamill and her all-star partner Tristan were the first pair to leave this season's competition of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. Although the pair did not place in the bottom two during Monday night's performance episode, Hamill was forced to withdraw from the competition due to unfortunate injuries. Read More »
Following two crowd-pleasing weekends on the main stage for the first time at Ultra Music Festival, Dutch DJ Nicky Romero officially releases 'Symphonica.' This highly anticipated progressive house single was dropped on Monday March 25th by his label Protocol Records. 24-year-old Romero, who also recently collaborated with fellow Dutch DJ Aviici on one of the biggest dance hits of the year, "I Could be the One," premiered the 'Symphonica' "dance bomb" during his set at Tomorrowland last year. It has been "making waves in the dance music world ever since," states Dancing Astronaut, as "it boasts high definition strings that crescendo into powerful synths and a grinding beat." Vibe added that the new "uplifting" and "intricate" track displays Nicky's individual talents for musical experimentation as 'Symphonica' offers organic sounds mixed with electric-infused power. Following it's debut last week, ABC's new TV Show "Splash" continued its search for the best celebrity diver as the remaining 5 contestants were set to jump into Week 2: Ndamukong Suh, Drake Bell, Chuy Bravo, Nicole Eggert and Kendra Wilkinson. However, a change to the lineup was made on Tuesday night's episode when the announcement came that contestant Chuy Bravo suffered a freak accident and would no longer be able to compete. After co-hosts Joey Lawrence and Charissa Thompson reveal that Chelsea Handler's side-kick broke his heel while jumping off a diving board in training, former Olympic soccer player Brandi Chastain made her "Splash" debut as she "kicked" up the competition when she took Chuy's place and beat out Suh in this weeks dive-off. Jesse James, actress Sandra Bullock's ex husband, tied the knot for the fourth time on Sunday to his girlfriend of seven months, Alexia DeJoria, reports Us Weekly. The French electronic duo, Daft Punk, has revealed the release date and album name for their upcoming fourth studio project! Random Access Memories, the first new album in 8 years for the "Around the World" DJ's, will be released on May 21st with the group's Daft Life imprint through Columbia Records, Billboard reports. The album's artwork (show above) and release date were made public Saturday, when a new 15-second advertisement aired during a re-run of SNL on NBC. It featured the same unnamed song as the initial March 2 teaser, but added some robotic vocals, declaring something along the lines of "Like to get funky," says Huffington Post. Odd Future" frontman 'Tyler, The Creator' released the official tracklist for his upcoming album Wolf. The follow-up to the rapper's "controversial" 2011 Goblin album, this will mark his 3rd studio solo record, which is set to drop April 2nd through his label Odd Future Records. The MC/producer/director/rapper's upcoming album Wolf features the standard collaborations with fellow 'Odd Futurians' like Frank Ocean, Hodgy Beats, Taco, Domo, Jasper, and Earl Sweatshirt, as well as a few "non-typical" special guests like Dave Matthews, Erykah Badu, and his idol Pharrell. It was a ''Boy Meets World'' reunion on the set of Disney's new spinoff series, "Girl Meets World," as the cast welcomed back the beloved Mr. Feeny to the sequel show. William Daniels, 86, joins Ben Savage & Danielle Fishel in the new pilot that revisits everyone's favorite '90s TV couple, Cory & Topanga, who are back together again (and married). The "Back at One" R&B singer, Brian McKnight, is back with a new album "More than Words," which was released on March 19th. The soulful crooner premiered a new music video this week for his second single, "4th of July," off of his 15th studio record. "More than Worlds," released by One Music, features 16 tracks and marks the veteran's first new album in two years, according to Huffington Post. "Sweeter" was the first single to be released off the LP. VH1 reality star/rapper, Ahmad "Real" Givens from "Real Chance of Love," has recently been diagnosed with stage-4 colon cancer, his rep told TMZ on Thursday. "Real," brother of Kamal "Chance" Givens, once fought for love as a contestant on the reality dating game show "I Love New York" and will now fight for his life in his battle with cancer. The 33-year-old rapper-turned-reality star first became ill in January with what he thought at the time was just a case of the flu, reports TMZ. When his condition didn't improve after multiple hospital visits, doctors thought something might be wrong with his liver.
