Comedian Bill Maher took the last few minutes of Friday night's Real Time to stick it to the leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin regarding their issues with illegal immigration. Maher went off on a sarcastic rant similar to that of Trump's during his presidential announcement – yes, the one in which he claimed Mexico was sending over their rapists. In this speech, however, Maher joked that with all the racist comments coming from Trump – and Palin's efforts to get everyone to "speak American" while in America – everyone seems to be missing that one group who continues to take over the U.S.: Australians. It's a constant debate amongst the left and right: climate change. On Friday night's episode of Real Time, host Bill Maher welcomed in Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum. And if you don't know, the two have complete opposite opinions on the issue. Maher believes it's the thing we should be talking about, and Santorum, well, disagrees. The country is slowly ... slowly ... slowly ... slowly legalizing the use of marijuana. As states like Washington and Colorado have already done it (and seen an enormous boost in revenue), there are other states in our great nation trying to do the same. The unfortunate downside of marijuana being legal in states is that it is still illegal in the country. What that means is that the federal government still has control over the state marijuana laws. Which leads to marijuana busts and a whole heap of a mess. But if California Republican Dana Rohrabacher has his way a new bill proposed, it looks like the Feds will soon have to respect those marijuana laws that states enforce. Read More »

Believe it or not, sometimes even liberals are wrong. Don’t worry – if you don’t want to admit it, comedian Bill Maher did it for you this past Friday night on HBO’s Real Time. After Dolce and Gabbana released some rather flattering comments about gay adoption, in which they called children adopted by gay parents as “synthetic children, the world of liberals went ballistic. Which, of course, makes sense to some degree, as the fashion designers’ comments were rather uncaring – despite being gay men. But Maher’s argument here is why fight so much with someone who agrees with you on 95% of other issues. It’s been a crazy week after the unfortunate and horrific murders at the Charlie Hebdo offices and killings in Paris, France.
