While the world was busy getting oh-so-angry over the recent arrest of 14-year-old Ahmed Mohamed after he brought a clock into school that was mistaken for a bomb, comedian Bill Maher was putting together his support for the boy's arrest. That's right, the famed Real Time host admitted to having understood the perspective of the police in their arrest on Friday night's HBO episode, claiming that the clock made by Mohamed "looks exactly like a f*cking bomb." Comedian Bill Maher took the last few minutes of Friday night's Real Time to stick it to the leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin regarding their issues with illegal immigration. Maher went off on a sarcastic rant similar to that of Trump's during his presidential announcement – yes, the one in which he claimed Mexico was sending over their rapists. In this speech, however, Maher joked that with all the racist comments coming from Trump – and Palin's efforts to get everyone to "speak American" while in America – everyone seems to be missing that one group who continues to take over the U.S.: Australians. It's a constant debate amongst the left and right: climate change. On Friday night's episode of Real Time, host Bill Maher welcomed in Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum. And if you don't know, the two have complete opposite opinions on the issue. Maher believes it's the thing we should be talking about, and Santorum, well, disagrees. Regardless, the two decided to get together on the HBO series to hash out their differences. Read More »
Comedian Bill Maher recently discussed the lack-of-importance (in his opinion, of course) to Hillary Clinton's email scandal on Friday's night's episode of Real Time. The host brought up the issue as an example of the way he feels the Republicans on the right waste time and gloss over issues that are allegedly more important and have an actual effect on the American people, such as climate change. Following Donald Trump's alleged win at the Republican primary debate – which sparked a new "feud" with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly – comedian Bill Maher spent a few minutes on Friday's Real Time discussing the (terrifying) possibility of the former Celebrity Apprentice star actually becoming the next President of the United States. On the totem pole of "offensive" comedians, Jerry Seinfeld is pretty low. So if he's feeling that people are too politically correct these days, perhaps it's true. At least, that's what Real Time host Bill Maher and Roastmaster General Jeff Ross had to say on this past Friday's episode of Maher's HBO series. Read More »
After former McKinney, Texas police officer Eric Casebolt's video of him pushing a young girl's face to the ground went viral, it wasn't so surprising to see the subject was debated on last night's Real Time with Bill Maher. The comedian, who claimed Casebolt was the "high school loser" type, noted that he felt the cop wanted to "re-litigate his sh*tty adolescence," and therefore became a cop. And now that he has "got some power," he's abusing it. Read More »

The country is slowly ... slowly ... slowly ... slowly legalizing the use of marijuana. As states like Washington and Colorado have already done it (and seen an enormous boost in revenue), there are other states in our great nation trying to do the same. The unfortunate downside of marijuana being legal in states is that it is still illegal in the country. What that means is that the federal government still has control over the state marijuana laws. Which leads to marijuana busts and a whole heap of a mess. But if California Republican Dana Rohrabacher has his way a new bill proposed, it looks like the Feds will soon have to respect those marijuana laws that states enforce. Read More »
4/20 is here, folks! And to celebrate the oh, so hazy holiday of pot-smoking, we here at MStars News thought it best to count down the top five celebrity stoners that Hollywood has to offer. Naturally, the land-o-celebs is filled with a large number of people who smoke marijuana, but there are a select few (okay, maybe more) who actually seem to really publicize the ... hobby? From the comedy industry to the land of dramatic acting and music, pot is arguably more popular than drinking in Hollywood –– especially because it's rather legal in California if you have a prescription. Now, there's much speculation as to the meaning of 4/20 (or 4:20, 420 – however you want to spell it), but to us, it means one thing: people are smoking pot today... Read More »

Believe it or not, sometimes even liberals are wrong. Don’t worry – if you don’t want to admit it, comedian Bill Maher did it for you this past Friday night on HBO’s Real Time. After Dolce and Gabbana released some rather flattering comments about gay adoption, in which they called children adopted by gay parents as “synthetic children, the world of liberals went ballistic. Which, of course, makes sense to some degree, as the fashion designers’ comments were rather uncaring – despite being gay men. But Maher’s argument here is why fight so much with someone who agrees with you on 95% of other issues. But even that wasn’t enough to please musician Elton John, who called for a boycott against the designers. And well, Maher had some comments about that. Read More »
It’s been a crazy week after the unfortunate and horrific murders at the Charlie Hebdo offices and killings in Paris, France. After MStars News first reported on the events, including Real Time host Bill Maher heading on over to Jimmy Kimmel Live and making some comments about the Muslim religion, it’s now being announced that the underground hacking group known as Anonymous has declared war on Islamist Extremists, claiming they will take down any extremist site they see online. They’re aptly calling the operation “#OpCharlieHebdo” Read More »
