On Monday, NBC officially cut ties with its "Apprentice" host, Donald Trump, after he made some remarks they believed to be disparaging against illegal immigrants. Today, Trump's war with NBC continues as he released a statement Tuesday blasting the company and their handling of Brian Williams. The beef between Brian Williams and MSNBC is deeper than just a few lies told on national television. Apparently, it goes as far back as 2012 when the staff of the left-leaning news network believed Williams arrogantly aired a piece that called MSNBC, Fox News and CNN blowhards. To the dismay of many Brian Williams is not out at NBC Nightly News. While he won't be returning to his coveted nighttime slot, he will soon begin covering news on MSNBC. The announcement was made last week and Williams had his first interview with Matt Lauer on Friday. It's being reported that NBC is trying to keep Brian Williams following that whole Iraq war lie that went down some time back. After the scandal broke, in which Williams allegedly fabricated a story about being under fire in a helicopter during the Iraq war, the famed journalist was stripped of his role as the anchor and Managing Editor of NBC Nightly News.
