Looks like Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld could very well become a hell of a lot wealthier very, very soon. Which is good because they need the money. Oh wait, no, they don't –– at all. But that doesn't mean they won't be seeing some pretty hefty residual checks when the streaming rights for their hit series Seinfeld are sold. Billy Eichner and Amy Poehler are bringing a new hilarious show to a computer near you with their original series "Difficult People." Hulu has officially picked up the comedy series. "The Hollywood Reporter" learned that after Billy, known for his work on "Billy on the Street," originally filmed the pilot for the USA Network, it's Hulu that has picked it up for a series order. Julie Klausner and Billy created the series that follows the duo — who both star in the series — as best friends living in New York City as they encounter awkward situations. Billy and Julie wrote the pilot and "Parks and Recreation" star Amy is one of the executive producers of the series alongside "Louie's" Dave Becky, according to TV Guide." Read More »

Looks like Hulu just got another potential win under its belt. The Hollywood Reporter claims that the streaming service just ordered a straight-to-series deal for 11/22/63, a 9-episode series from Bad Robot Producers, which is owned by LOST, Alias and Fringe creator J.J. According to a new report, comedy filmmaker Judd Apatow is hoping to make his mark on Hulu with a new exclusive series allegedly entitled Love and starring Gillian Jacobs. The young starlet is most known for her role as Britta on the recently cancelled NBC comedy Community, which was rumored to be getting saved by Hulu soon for a sixth season.
