After multiple delays and an increasingly frustrating process, the director for an upcoming documentary about rapper M.I.A. has quite the project after leaking a 2012 trailer. On his personal website, www.vandlo.com, Steve Loveridge has expressed continuing disappointment over the documentary, Roc Nattion and Interscope Records. When a fan asked "Is the MIA doco still on hold?" He responded with "Yep. I get an email every few weeks from Rocnation or Interscope saying it's all going to start up again, then nothing." Recording artist M.I.A. announced on her Twitter account that the Grammy Awards’ Bob Marley Tribute stage design was a rip off of her stage set. Her tweet has since been deleted, but it read, “IM KEEPING A STEAL LOG THIS YEAR HERE THE ONE FOR JAN / FEB > MIA $500 > GRAMMYS $5000000.” It also included a link to her Tumblr site, which had a post comparing the two performances in screengrabs and the message: "MY IDEAS CAME FROM MY LIFE.
