Oh My God. I think Macklemore just made me a fan with his freestyle over Wu-Tang Clan's "Triumph." The "Thrift Shop" rapper directly addressed all of his detractors in a freestyle that just needs to be heard, period. Over the course of a few minutes, Macklemore cops to claims of cultural appropriation, "white privelege" based attacks and showcases his own awe at how famous he has become. The track just broke the record for longest running #1 rap single on Billboard Magazine's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at 12 weeks.
