Reports confirm that the 24-year-old brother of former Slip-N-Slide Records rapper Trina was shot and killed in Miami earlier this week. According to friends who live in the neighborhood, Wilbrent "Gonk" Bain allegedly got into a verbal altercation with 27-year-old Ron Dobson on Tuesday morning (April 23). Dobson pulled out a gun and began shooting at the unarmed Bain. Trina's brother was pronounced dead at the scene. Dobson was arrested and later confessed to the murder. Read More »
As Mstars originally reported, popular rapper Lil Wayne was hospitalized last week after experiencing severe seizures. Rumors had it that Weezy fell into a medically-induced coma and that he was on the verge of death... rumors which ultimately proved false, to the relief of many worried fans. Wayne was released from LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Monday (March 18) and he's currently doing just fine. The online death scare prompted rumors that he "How to Love" crooner overdosed on drugs or Sizzurp, a dangerous concoction made of flavored soda and Codeine syrup. But according to an exclusive MediaTakeOut report, the Young Money mogul was actually POISONED. Apparently, several of Weezy's family members believe that someone messed with the rapper's syrup, which is what made him fall so ill. Do fans believe the seedy claim? Supposedly family and friends are currently "urging" Wayne to prompt an investigation, but the rapper doesn't want law enforcement involved until he does some digging of his own into the allegations. BREAKING NEWS - Rapper French Montana's tour bus was the target of a drive-by shooting following a Philadelphia concert on Thursday evening (Feb. 28). Several fans followed the "Excuse My French" star's bus to a local Holiday Inn Express after the show, when an unidentified gunman fired shots into the crowd from a passing car. Reports confirm that Nevada police have named 22-year-old Tineesha Lashun Howard as a "person of interest" in the tragic Las Vegas drive-by shooting and violent car crash that killed aspiring rapper Kenny Clutch on Thursday (Feb. 21). Reports confirm that a chaotic drive-by shooting took place on the infamous Las Vegas Strip on Thursday morning (Feb. 21), resulting in a violent crash that ultimately killed three individuals. Among the victims and the alleged gunman target was aspiring rapper Kenny Clutch (real name, Kenneth Cherry Jr.). Authorities claim that Clutch was waiting at a red light in his black Maserati at approximately 4:20 a.m. when a black Range Rover pulled up and someone in the vehicle began erratically firing gunshots. Clutch was hit and in response accelerated into the intersection and slammed into an oncoming taxi. Both vehicles instantly lit up in flames - Clutch, a cab driver named Michael Boldon, and his passenger were killed.
