Acclaimed writer and producer Roberto Orci was about to take over the director's chair for the yet-to-be titled Star Trek 3 movie, but this week we learned that he didn't get the job. Reports aren't clear as to whether or not he turned down the job, or something else happened, but for now the Into Darkness scribe is remaining as a producer for the popular Star trek reboot movie franchise, which Orci helped start with director J.J. Roberto Orci is a very busy man and has worked on some big-name projects like Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness and is set to direct the next chapter of the series, known as of now as Star Trek 3.
