Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is being sued for copyright infringement. The over $100 million lawsuit alleges that the 52-year old Pulp Fiction legend stole the premise of his 2012 film Django Unchained, for which he won an Oscar for best original screenplay, from a 2004 WGA registered script titled Freedom. The suit, which also names the Weinstein Company and Columbia Pictures as defendants, was filed by Freedom screenwriters Oscar Colvin Jr. and Torrance J. Colvin. Read More »

Kurt Russell, who is promoting his movie The Hateful Eight, took on an anti-gun reporter named Jeffery Wells in a tense interview. The actor told the interviewer it is “absolutely insane” to believe that gun control will end terrorist attacks. According to a new report by the NY Post, two time Oscar winning filmmaker Quentin Tarantino lied about having spent time in jail. The news comes hot on the heels of the Pulp Fiction creator's controversial involvement in an anti police violence rally at New York's Washington Square Park last month. We learned of the complete cast list for the upcoming, highly anticipated new movie from filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, The Hateful Eight (stylized as H8ful Eight), but one name movie fans were excited to see on the list was absent: Viggo Mortensen. Rumors and reports had the actor apparently in talks to join the cast of the 2015 film, but when the announcement came, we learned that he didn't get the role. This week, the actor revealed that these rumors were true, but an intense filming schedule to get the movie released later this year resulted in the Lord of the Rings star to turn down the opportunity.
