Ellen Pao Asked to Step Down From Reddit

This week Reddit shut down five communities. The reason for the shutdowns is because the subreddits went against a new anti-harassment program led by interim chief executive Ellen Pao. The most popular community closed was called Fat People Hate. The subreddit made fun of overweight people and was made up of pictures and comments. Cancelled 'Degrassi' Coming to Netflix with New Episodes, Still no Drake

In this day of entertainment and the Internet, the cancelation of a TV show does not mean that the series is dead. So when the teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation recently go cancelled, fans held out hope for a series revival somewhere else. We have good news for viewers of the show: Netflix has picked up the cancelled series and will release brand new episodes of the newly titled Degrassi: Next Class in 2016! Silk Road Creator Given Life in Prison

The underground area of the Internet known as Silk Road was intended to be a market on the Darknet. Users of Silk Road were able to navigate through its system undetected using the program Tor––a service that allows anyone to move freely through the net without being traced. Since Silk Road's demise in 2013, the spotlight was placed on its creator Ross Williams Ulbricht. According to authorities, Ulbricht was responsible for the drug and weapons trafficking that went down on his site. They also accused him of being responsible for any murder-for-hire sales that were accessed through Silk Road. Since then, Ulbricht has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Read More »
