Minnie Driver is headed for the second star to the right and straight on 'til morning. The About A Boy actress will be joining Allison Williams and Christopher Walken in the NBC musical adaptation Peter Pan Live!, as she gears up to play a grown up version of Wendy Darling.

According to E! News, the star will play the older version of Wendy, while Taylor Louderman will take on the younger role.

Chairman of NBC Entertainment, Robert Greenblatt, released a statement earlier today about his excitement in bringing Minnie onto the project.

"We're thrilled to have Minnie as part of this Peter Pan adventure," Greenblatt explained. "She appears in the final emotional scene where Peter returns to the Darling home years later only to realize Wendy is now grown up and has a daughter of her own, but you'll also hear her voice throughout the movie since Adult Wendy is also our narrator. She's a classy addition to our wonderful cast."

Entertainment Weekly is also confirming the casting news and reporting that there will be a behind-the-scenes look at the musical event, called The Making of Peter Pan Live, which is scheduled to air on Wednesday, November 26.

Also set to star in the live TV adaptation will be Christian Borle, who will play Smee and Mr. Darling, while Kelli O'Hara and Alanna Saunders will take on the roles of Mrs. Darling and Tiger Lily respectively.

Peter Pan Live! will take to the stage and the sky on Thursday, December 4 on NBC.
