Tonight marked the end of comedian Jon Stewart's run as the host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show. Over the course of Stewart's 17(ish)-year run, he and his staff succeeded in becoming a go-to news series for millennials and adults alike, unexpectedly morphing from a fake news comedy show to a sort-of-fake-news-but-really-delivering-the-truth kind of comedy show. Jon Stewart went on the attack against Fox News for perhaps the final time on The Daily Show on Monday night. Stewart, who is leaving the show on Thursday, went after the network's theory that he is a propagandist microphone for the Obama administration after those "secret" meetings were reported. Fox was addressing the recently revealed news that Stewart and President Barack Obama had secret meetings at the White House. With the premiere of Stephen Colbert's Late Show coming up on Sept. 8, the show has just dropped the first-ever promos for the new CBS series. The stars of the new Ghostbusters film – Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig and Leslie Jones – recently visited the Tufts Medical Center's Floating Hospital for Children. The best part? The death of Zimbabwe safari park attraction and fan favorite Cecil the Lion has rocked the world, and the killer is a Dentist from Minneapolis, MN named Walter Palmer. During his monologue on his ABC late night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jimmy took some time to address the news and passionately badmouthed the acts of Palmer on national TV.
