In what has become a familiar narrative when it comes to the Marshall Mathers LP 2, Eminem has released another throwback-style, oldhead-appeasing, technically impressive, lyrically so-so track called "Don't Front." Read More »
Lana Del Rey has occasionally been seen hyping her so-called "farewell film" Tropico. From what we can garner, the film seems to contain quite a bit of religious iconography and retro pop culture references. This teaser "pilgrim", which at 13 seconds is the single largest piece of info we've recieved about Tropico, shows Lana actually praying at the altar of bygone mass media. Rey is shown in a veil as she whispers a benediction directly to John Wayne (or a chubby dude who kinda looks like Wayne, at least). Read More »

One can't help but wonder how much the reviews are letting Shady rest on his laurels, willing an okay album to greatness simply because they want it to be. Read More »
