Kristen Bell and 37-year-old husband Dax Shepard announced their pregnancy back in November and have just recently allowed photos to go online of Bell's glorious baby bump. So what we are seeing is not anything like the royal baby bump of Kate Middleton. This photo makes it seem like the "House of Lies" star is about to burst any day now. The 32-year-old Bell and her "Parenthood" star husband have decided to keep the baby's gender private until the actual birth. Although, in a January interview with Ellen DeGeneres, she jokingly mentioned that Dax was looking forward to off-roading with the baby, but included in her statement that he was "going to force [the baby] . . . to off-road." Reports confirm that Paula Lopez, a popular California anchorwoman for KEYT-TV Channel 3, returned safely home Wednesday evening (Feb. 27) after she was reported missing by family members earlier in the day. Apparently Lopez was last seen at her Santa Barbara home Wednesday morning when the missing persons scare began. Because of Lopez's prestigious standing in the community, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office launched an avid search right away, but to no avail. Apparently drug smugglers are having to become rather creative. In the Mexican border city of Mexicali a makeshift marijuana cannon was confiscated by authorities last week. Police told Televisa that they believe the devise was used to fire marijuana packets over the border fence in California. Read More »
Deborah "Debi" Austin, a Californian woman featured in anti-smoking ads and became a symbol of the anti-smoking movement died last week at the age of 62. She was best known for her public awareness television ad's in the mid 1990's. Read More »
Kaley Cuoco recently tweeted a paid endorsement for the Dish Network despite the fact that the network she works for, CBS, is currently suing the satellite television provider over. The 27-year-old “Big Bang Theory” tweeted, "Amazing! Watching live TV anywhere on the #Hopper looks pretty awesome! Now where can I find a tiny beer? #ad.” The advertisement involved tiny beverages mixed with watching programs on smart devices. This went out to her more than 1.2 million followers and included a link to the ad. As soon as the media inquired about the situation and the tweet, it was removed from her account. CBS as well as other networks ABC, FOX and NBC are all suing the Dish network because of its Hopper technology, which allows customers to watch previously aired primetime television shows without any commercials. Reports confirm that a large shark attacked and killed popular television and short-film director Adam Strange on Wednesday (Feb. 26) just off the coast of Muriwai Beach near Auckland, New Zealand. Vacationers and fellow sun-dwellers watched in horrific shock as the predator ripped the 46-year-old swimmer apart. Police attempted to save Strange by firing gunshots at the approximately 14-foot long shark, but to no avail. Gruesome eyewitness accounts describe the scene as a bloody, chaotic mess.
