Several recent reports confirm that Durand Ford, Jr. from Washington, D.C. was recently billed approximately $780 for an ambulance that arrived 30 minutes too late to administer aid to his ailing father. Reports confirm that Salwa Amin, star of MTV's new hit reality show "Buckwild," was arrested early Monday morning (Feb. 11) in West Virginia on felony drug charges. 24-year-old Amin was ultimately charged with two counts of drug possession (heroine and oxycodone) with the intent to deliver. David Matusiewicz has been identified as the gunman in today’s Wilmington, Delaware, courthouse shooting that left 2 people wounded and 3 people, including Matusiewitcz, dead. The gunman entered the New Castle County Courthouse at 8:00 a.m. this morning and opened fire, injuring 2 Capitol Police officers, who were saved by their bulletproof vests, and killing his ex-wife and another woman. Matusiewicz, a former optometrist, was in a long and grueling custody battle with his ex-wife. According to several recent reports, the Carnival Triumph (a luxury cruise ship owned by Carnival Corp.) caught fire in the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday (Feb. 10) after the ship's engine went ablaze. While the engine room fire was quickly extinguished and caused no injuries, approximately 4,200 vacationers and crew members were left stranded adrift 150 miles off of southern Mexico's Yucatan peninsula. The U.S. Coast Guard was immediately notified, and a tugboat was allegedly on its way to drag the ship back to the Mexican Port of Progreso on Monday.
