Reports confirm that the son of Sheryl Leach, creator of the beloved children's show "Barney the Dinosaur and Friends," has been charged with attempted murder in Malibu, CA. Patrick Leach, 27, allegedly shot his 49-year-old neighbor Eric Shanks right in the chest during a property dispute back in January. While the victim is expected to fully recover from his wounds, police eventually found evidence at the scene that connects young Leach to the shootings. Leach is currently free on a $1 million bail. Reports confirm that federal prison guard Nancy Gonzalez was arrested on Tuesday (Feb. 5) for allegedly having an illegal sexual affair with inmate Ronell Wilson, a former gang member infamously deemed the "cop killer." Wilson intentionally impregnated Gonzalez in an attempt to avoid the death penalty... he was convicted of capital murder in 2003 for killing two undercover New York City police officers in Staten Island, NY and now faces life in prison or the death by lethal injection. The 29-year-old guards-woman, who insists she was only looking for "someone to love her," is now eight months pregnant with the prisoner's child and could face up to 15 years in prison. Read More »
Penelope Soto was sentenced to 30 days in prison after she flipped off the judge presiding over her bond hearing. During her hearing in a Miami-Dade courtroom, the orange jumper clad Soto was giggling and playing with her hair while being questioned. Judge Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat tried to explain the severity of the situation to the 18-year-old, but to no avail. Soto was brought in and charged for possession of Xanax. Read More »
