32-year-old Jodi Arias admits she stabbed her boyfriend, Travis Alexander, 29 times, then shot him in the face and slit his throat, all in self-defense. In a surprising turn of events, the Arizona woman accused of murdering her ex-boyfriend took the witness stand in her own defense. Arias told jurors she was abused as a child, sometimes beaten with a wooden spoon by her mother. She also said she planned to committed suicide after Alexander's death. Monica Quan, California State Fullerton’s 28-year-old assistant women's basketball coach and her fiancé, Keith Lawrence, 27, were killed on Sunday night in Irvine, California, in a bizarre double murder. The Couple was found shot to death in a car at the condominium complex where they lived. Originally thought to be a robbery gone wrong, the fact that nothing was stolen has ruled out that possibility. Police have yet to identify any suspects and have found no motive for the homicide. Reports confirm that U.S. Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn was airlifted by helicopter off the slopes of Schladming, Austria during the World Alpine Skiing Championships after a sever crash during her Super-G race. Kevin Bacon, the 54-year-old actor, enjoys taking the subway whenever he needs to get around when he is home in New York City. His roles in such films as Animal House, Footloose, and Mystic River have made him one of the most recognizable actors alive today. There is even the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" game which connects any other actor to Bacon within 6 moves. It is definitely not uncommon to see actors on the subway system, but the attention drives some of them to ... well, drive. Not Kevin, though.
