Cleveland Cavaliers guard and former New York Knick JR Smith has attributed his recent career resurgence after being to traded to Cleveland on, well, the lack of quality Ohio nightlife. Having been traded from New York City -- along with fellow Knick Iman Shumpert in a three-team trade between the Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder -- to the home of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and lakes that you can set on fire, Smith is training with his brother, fellow-former Knick Chris, and concentrating on "nothing but basketball," rather than pipe and who's trying to get it. The NFL will run a 'No More' anti-domestic violence PSA during the 2015 Super Bowl match up between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. It comes after a year where the NFL has been rocked by abuse scandals, including the Ray Rice elevator incident where the Baltimore Ravens running back knocked out his then-fiancee, and the Adrian Peterson child abuse trial, where the Minnesota Vikings running back pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor reckless assault charge. The NFL have been running 'No More' domestic violence ads all season -- featuring celebrities and former NFL players -- but this marks the first time an anti-domestic violence ad will be shown during a Super Bowl. Melissa Rivers is reportedly suing the medical clinic where her mother, comedian Joan Rivers, suffered fatal complications during an outpatient endoscopy operation. Rivers was rushed from the Yorkville Endoscopy clinic to Mt Sinai hospital on Aug. 28 when she had a laryngospasm during the procedure on her vocal chords, which cut off the oxygen flow to her brain. She died of "brain damage caused by a severe lack of oxygen" seven days later. Melissa Rivers is apparently suing for unspecified damages, and called the clinic's behavior "incompetent" and "shocking," while the doctors were referred to as "groupies" by her lawyer. Read More »

The 23 year old star receiver already served a ten-match ban last season for failing a drug test, and was also suspended for the final game of the season for violating team rules (following an alleged party with Manziel). Ryan Adams and Mandy Moore's are divorcing. The pair are reportedly splitting after six years of marriage, with the former "Candy" pop star and beloved indie/country musician reportedly going their separate ways respectfully and amicably. Adams - whose most recent self-titled album was a melancholy affair - and Red Band Society actress Moore had been dating since 2008, but now Moore has filed for divorce from the Heartbreaker rocker, citing "irreconcilable differences".
