British alternative rockers Arctic Monkeys have released the album artwork for their new album 2013 AM today (July 15) via their Twitter and Facebook with the straight to the point message of "Here's the artwork for 'AM' - released 9th September 2013." Featuring a black background and white sound waves, the cover for the "Fluorescent Adolescent" is incredibly simplistic. The United Kingdom's iTunes Festival has just added some new attractions for the September 1 - 30 musical event. Elton John, Robin Thicke, Arctic Monkeys and the Pixies have joined to long list of performers that also includes Kings of Leon, Justin Timberlake, Sigur Ros, Paramore, Queens of the Stone Age and Vampire Weekend. The festival, which was launched in 2007, used to take place in July but has since moved to September starting in 2012. English indie rock group Arctic Monkeys debuted their newest song "Mad Sounds" over the weekend, performing it at Hultsfred Festival in Sweden on Friday and again at the Danish NorthSide festival on Sunday. This debut of "Mad Sounds" over the weekend comes about a month after the rockers unveiled another new song that is sure to be on their upcoming album, "Do I Wanna Knaow." The band opened both of these European gigs with this song and performed "Mad Sounds" towards the end of their set.
