We're all still reeling from the news that broke earlier this week, announcing that NBC has pulled the plug on Hannibal, which has officially been cancelled in the early stages of season three, but with each passing day we hear rumors of other platforms that can save season four. The series has always suffered from low ratings and viewership, so we understand why the network closed shop on the Lecter series, but we're not ready to accept the end of the entire show. Luckily for us, there are other avenues for new episodes and creator Bryan Fuller says popular streaming services Amazon and Netflix are both interested in giving Hannibal new life. Even though we're only a few episodes into the thrilling third season of NBC's critically acclaimed crime drama Hannibal, the network has decided to cancel the fan-favorite show. The season three opener of NBC's critically acclaimed series Hannibal, entitled "Antipasto" only showed us how Dr. Lecter has adjusted to life in Europe, with Bedilia by his side - even if she's terrified to be part of his new life. Francis Dolarhyde is a huge character in the 1981 Thomas Harris novel Red Dragon, which was adapted into two films, Manhunter and Red Dragon. Just like every other character from Harris' novels, the NBC horror series Hannibal from Bryan Fuller is sure to show audiences a different take on Dolarhyde, a.k.a. the Tooth Fairy serial killer when 2015's season three episodes premier in June. Zachary Quinto is the latest actor to sign on for a guest-starring role on season 3 of Hannibal. Reteaming with Heroes writer, Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller, the Star Trek Into Darkness actor is reportedly showing up in at least one episode of the 2015 season, as one of Gillian Anderson's character Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier's patients. Knowing that the upcoming episodes will be a mix of the present and past with flashbacks, Quinto's character is a mystery so far, but some theories suggest an important role. Actor Glenn Fleshler made his way into all of our nightmares last year thanks to his portrayal of Erroll Childress on HBO's hit series True Detective. Also known as the "Yellow King" or more simply the Lawnmower Man, fans of the series were truly creeped out and terrified of the show's main villain, especially in the climactic season finale when ... well we won't share and spoilers here. Anyway, it looks like Fleshler is enjoying the creepy TV drama genre so much that he joined the scariest one on network television: NBC's Hannnibal.
