Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David's 90s baby Seinfeld had a brilliant way of stepping around controversial topics and tackling them straight on in a SFW sort of way that no other sitcom could do. The perfect example would be "The Contest"––the masturbation episode in which Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer enter a contest to see who can be "master of their domain." While David, Seinfeld, executive producer Larry Charles, and a number of other writers wrote the two scripts, the network decided it best to cancel them and not even film due to them being politically incorrect. If you’re a coffee-drinker then you undoubtedly heard about Starbucks’ #RaceTogether campaign. As a way to bring up the subject of race with their customers, the baristas at Starbucks were told to write “Race Together” on the side of every cup they serve.
