How do you like your eggs – scrambled? Fred? Over easy? Over medium? Over hard? Did anyone else just learn that the last two were things? Anyway, however you like your eggs, there’s a comedian out there who will agree with you – except on the over hard thing… except for stand up Jerry Seinfeld. Taken 4 has a trailer already. Star Liam Neeson is on the warpath once again, but this time it's to retrieve a lost Chihuahua named Pepe. Or is it Paco who's been taken? Either way, Neeson reboots his Bryan Mills character and teams up with Jimmy Kimmel and Kimmel security guard Guillermo to deliver the epic new (spoof) trailer for Taken 4. Read More »
Last night’s episode of CONAN was undoubtedly hilarious, but perhaps the funniest segment came during host Conan O’Brien’s “Coffee Table Books That Didn’t Sell” segment. If you haven’t seen the bit, it’s pretty self-explanatory –– O’Brien sits next to sidekick Andy Richter and the two go through some coffee table books that were rejected upon publication. And while last night’s segment held a number of funny pieces – including Stoned Horses – the best of all was the book Careful of the Coz!, which, naturally, had something to do with comedian Bill Cosby and those rape allegations being flung around from all different angles … too many actually. The bit came just days after Golden Globes 2015 hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made a hilarious joke at the famed Cosby Show star’s expense and about a week after O’Brien gave a heartwarming speech about the Charlie Hebdo Tragedy in Paris. Actor and comedian Bob Newhart isn't dead: he's just a college football referee... Or so twitter thought during Monday night's College Football National Championship Game on ESPN. The star of Newhart, Elf and ER even had to take to Twitter to explain that it wasn't him out there deliberating on throws from star quarterbacks Marcus Mariota and Cardale Jones, or judging how many yards running back phenom Ezekiel Elliot had picked up, that was head referee Greg Burks. If you tuned into last night’s episode of CONAN then you undoubtedly saw Portlandia’s own Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein take to host Conan O’Brien’s couch. During the duo’s interview, O’Brien brought up a little beef Armisen has with his former Saturday Night Live co-star, who recently lit up the screen in The Skeleton Twins, Bill Hader. Mainly the fact that Hader did an impression of Armisen that the latter found a little “unfair.” Naturally, with that, Armisen had a little impression of his own for his former friend. Read More »
John Elway thanked 'John Elway' for his service to the Denver Broncos, misspeaking during his press conference to announce the departure of head coach John Fox. The Denver Broncos GM and Vice President of Football Operations said that he'd like to start of his press conference by "thanking John Elway" due to a glitch in the matrix. The Denver Broncos and coach John Fox decided to "mutually part ways" following their 24-13 NFL divisional round playoff loss at home to Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts. It's a wonder John Elway didn't wish John Elway a happy retirement too, as Denver quarterback Peyton Manning weighs up his options. Read More »
The latest Celebrity Mean Tweets from 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' - where celebrities read the meanest things the general public tweet about them - has been unleashed on the world. Better still, in honor of the College Football Championship game, it's a College Football Playoff Championship Edition of Mean Tweets. The segment aired on ESPN before the Ohio State Buckeyes beat the Oregon Ducks, and featured appearances from college football mainstays, commentators and coaches including Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, Mark May, Lou Holtz, Mark Helfrich, Heather Cox, Brady Hoke, Tim Tebow, Brian Kelly, Jesse Palmer, Jimbo Fisher, Chris Fowler, Scott Van Pelt, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit. Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee may be off the air for a little bit but it seems Seinfeld isn’t done delivering to his followers a collection of funny goodness … if that’s a thing? Just last week, the Seinfeld star shared a Single Shot video – you know, the “Grow A Pair” clip – just after his NBC series co-creator, and Curb Your Enthusiasm star, Larry David gave an in-depth interview on the Howard Stern Show for his new Broadway play Fish in the Dark. Today, however, it appears the veteran comedian is present at the Detroit Auto Show with Acura, who sponsors his famed web series. It’s official … Stephen Colbert is heading to CBS this coming Sept. 8! The former Colbert Report host ended his reign on Comedy Central at the end of last year, but it’ll be a little while until we see him taking the spot at the Ed Sullivan Theater. With David Letterman’s last show coming May 20, there will be a significant amount of time before Colbert shows his out-of-character persona on camera, but that just means we’ll be able to kick off the Fall 2015 in style! Following those Calvin Klein ads which picture singer-turned-something Justin Bieber modeling the fashion company’s new underwear line alongside model Lara Stone, the folks over at BeatheHeavy made a joke image which claimed the CK people used Photoshop to make Bieber look more muscular … in a few different areas. Apparently it seems the former beau to Selena Gomez didn’t find it too funny because he’s forcing the site to take it down with a cease and desist letter. Read More »
