'Star Citizen' Kickstarter Backers Can Recieve Pledge Refunds

Star Citizen is one of the most anticipated video games in recent history, mainly because the project was started in 2012 and is still in the works. This length of development has plenty of backers that helped fund the project through Kickstarter on now on the game's official website, but we've learned this week that disgruntled donators are able to get refunds from the developers over at Cloud Imperium. Though the terms for donating say a refund isn't a possibility, the studio doesn't want any negativity surrounding this epic project. Read more on this below. Read More »

Pokemon World Championships Almost Ended Terribly

The World Championships of Pokemon were held in Boston, Mass. this year, resulting in some amazing competition based around the card game that has taken over the world. We saw plenty of winners and some momentous celebrations, but this event could've ended in a much more horrible way if it hadn't been for the Boston Police. According to a number of news reports, two young adult males were on their way to the event with a car packed full of guns. Earlier this summer, Pokken Tournament debuted in arcades in Japan, which had gamers everywhere else pretty jealous. This fighter puts your favorite Pokemon characters into the ring, Tekken-style, in one of the more unique takes on the gaming style. Luckily for those that can't make the trip over to Japan to find an arcade, this hyped game has a 2016 release date for Wii U consoles! According to a new post on the job listings board over at Bungie, the development studio behind the widely played Destiny video game, we could be looking at PC gameplay in the near future. Watch 12 Minutes of 'XCOM 2' Gameplay

The highly anticipated follow up to 2012's popular turn-based video game XCOM: Enemy Unknown, aptly titled XCOM 2, has a release date set for November 2015, but we have a great extended look at the gameplay this week! In this new video footage, we learn about the mobile headquarters of our characters taking on the alien enemies, called "Avenger." 'Rainbow Six Siege' Release Date Delayed

The original October shelf date has been pushed to December 1, 2015, to address concerns from gamers and the community. Steven Spielberg's 'Halo' TV Series is Still Happening!

Microsoft launched the Xbox One back in 2013, but also announced a slew of projects that were even more exciting than a new gaming console. One of which was a new television series airing on Showtime based on the popular video game franchise Halo, which would involve legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg! Since this announcement, we've seen Halo: Nightfall and Forward Unto Dawn, which had fans of the series figuring the Spielberg project was never going to happen.
