Actor and screenwriter Jason Segel recently signed a book deal with Random House Books for a trilogy series for middle-grade readers. His first book in the planned series will be Nightmares! and will be published in the fall of 2014. The How I Met Your Mother star is set to team up with young adult author Kristen Miller (The Eternal Ones) for this project, which is based around Segel's first screenplay. James Franco has set out to tackle the film adaptation of William Faulkner's classic dramatic novel As I Lay Dying and today we get to see the first trailer for the movie. Franco has directed short films before but has yet to take on a full-length, let alone one so serious as a classic literary adaptation. The film is directed by Franco who also stars alongside Logan Marshall-Green, Tim Blake Nelson, and Danny McBride. In today's New York Times piece entitled "My Medical Choice," Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie revealed that she underwent a double mastectomy surgical procedure this past February in order to reduce the risk of breast cancer. This procedure was completed on April 27. The Girl, Interrupted star explained, "My doctors estimated that I had an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer, although the risk is different in the case of each woman" - and she was not willing to take such a chance. Kendrick Lamar has released a new music video for his latest single off of good kid, m.A.A.d. city, "B*tch, Don't Kill My Vibe." The music video takes place at a funeral, with all of the attendees dressed in white. Mike Epps, Schoolboy Q, and Juicy J make cameos throughout the short film, as Kendrick raps his lyrics while in an open field. Over the weekend, Kendall and Kylie Jenner took part in a meet-and-greet at the Brea Mall's PacSun location in Orange County, California. The sisters are both models and have their names attached to a line of PacSun clothing that they were promoting this weekend. Chris Hadfield, who is the commander of the International Space Station, just released the first ever music video recorded in space. Performing his own rendition of David Bowie's classic hit "Space Oddity," Hadfield tours the spacecraft showing incredibly fitting imagery. He is literally "sitting in a tin can far above the world." A social media celebrity of sorts with educational YouTube, Twitter and Facebook posts piling up since March, Commander Hadfield has released his final video. He is set to return to Earth on May 15. NBC officially confirmed that Saturday Night Live head writer and star Seth Meyers will replace Jimmy Fallon as host of Late Night when Fallon takes over The Tonight Show in 2014. Ever since Fallon was announced as Jay Leno's successor earlier this year, rumors about Meyers stepping into the shoes of host for Late Night have been circulating. As current host of SNL's news segment "Weekly Update" and current head writer of the weekly, live sketch comedy show, Meyers seems like a perfect fit for the late night television show. The fourth season of the widely popular show "Arrested Development" is just around the corner. This new comeback season, exclusively on Netflix, will allow fans to dive right back into the wacky lives of the Bluths. 15 new episodes will premiere on May 26 on Netflix and are designed to be viewed in any order. Kristen Wiig returned to Saturday Night Live last night for the first time after leaving the cast last year. This time, the former cast member came on to host along with musical guest Vampire Weekend, and she brought back plenty of her old characters. We got to see "Target Lady," "the Californians," and even a tease of "Gilly!" Wiig also brought friend and former cast member Maya Rudolph for some jokes as well as Jonah Hill.
