The comeback season for the family comedy series Arrested Development comes back exclusively on Netflix at the end of this month but the show recently added yet another guest star: John Krasinski. Known for his work on NBC's The Office, Krasinski joins the regular cast including Jason Bateman and Portia de Rossi as well as other guest stars including Seth Rogen and Kristen Wiig. The Office will end its nine-season run this week, so it is a good thing John gets to be seen on another comedy very soon after leaving the air. Read More »
It looks like Utah has had enough of the dramatic crime thriller series Hannibal on NBC. According to the KSL 5 TV station in Utah, this show is too graphic in nature and it has now been pulled from airing on the station. In place of the show there will be a special news segment in the 9 p.m. timeslot. The station posted this programming change on its Facebook page, ensuring fans of the show that they could easily watch the show online. 15 years after Neutral Milk Hotel played its last full-band show, a reunion tour has been announced. The iconic American indie rock band has left fans in the dark for a very long time, with frontman and songwriter Jeff Mangum only recently coming out of a reclusive state to perform solo sets back in 2010 and 2011. Neutral Milk Hotel's website also includes the confirmed lineup for the reunion tour: Jeff Mangum, Jeremy Barnes, Scott Spillane, and Julian Koster. Guillermo Del Toro recently premiered a new full-length trailer for the science fiction action movie Pacific Rim at WonderCon. At the convention, the legendary director deemed the footage to be "for our eyes only," but thankfully this extended look at the anticipated film is now available online. The film stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi and Charlie Day. This movie's scale is clearly the attraction since it is a story about giant monsters being fought by giant robots. Though Cristiano Ronaldo might be facing a lot of drama if Real Madrid loses for a second time to Dortmund tomorrow in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League tournament semifinals, he also recently had to address some rumors about his personal life. Though he is one of the top players in international football today, the Spaniard has faced some infidelity rumors involving him and Brazilian model Andressa Urach (A.K.A. "Miss BumBum"). Originally priced at $20 million, the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer talked down the price a bit and allegedly paid via wire transfer. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were married on April 29, 2011, making today their two-year anniversary. Unfortunately the two will not be able to be together today since Prince William is away on Royal Air Force duties. Sources have said, however, that the six-months pregnant Kate and her husband did manage to share celebrate a few days early with a private dinner. Even though she might be missing her Prince on their anniversary, Kate can enjoy the admiration she has been receiving for her first on-camera charitable appeal that aired this weekend for the United Kingdom's children's hospices. The Oscar-winning film starring Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, and Robert DeNiro is set for Blu-Ray and DVD release tomorrow. Like most films, the Blu-Rays and DVDs are complete with bonus features. Most of these features include behind-the-scenes footage, deleted scenes and such, but in rare occasions, you get to see an alternate ending. Actor Scott Foley recently started working on the ABC show "Scandal' portraying Navy officer Jake Ballard and hopes to stay on for a while. His character is seen as an antagonist in the series, so he has admittedly gotten a lot of heat on Twitter from fans. The show's season finale is filming this week but it looks like Foley (who has another show, "The Goodwin Games," premiering soon) does not want to say good-bye to Kerry Washington and the rest of the cast. Country Music Hall of Fame inductee George Jones, who passed away last week at the age of 81, will be put to rest in Nashville, Tennessee. His funeral will be held on Thursday May 2 at the Grand Ole Opry House. The service will be open to the public with a private ceremony the night before for friends and family. Jones' family is asking for donations to the Grand Ole Opry House Fund and/or the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in lieu of flowers. Read More »
