Last week's triumphant return of Doctor Who in "The Bells of St. John" brought us all back into the glorious world of the 11th Doctor. Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman brought the show back after an almost 4-month hiatus. This Saturday, the Doctor and Clara Oswald return in "The Rings of Akhaten" and this time we get to explore time and space and aliens! A lot of questions still surround Clara and her mysterious origin. After last week's episode, we know that the Doctor is really trying to figure her out. Yesterday, two men were convicted of plotting to rob and then murder soul singer and actress Joss Stone. Kevin Liverpool and his co-conspirator Junior Bradshaw have denied the charges, but were found guilty by a British jury of conspiring to murder, cause bodily harm and rob Stone. 35-year-old Liverpool was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum service of 10 years and 8 months. 32-year-old Bradshaw has yet to be sentenced. Thomas Beatie, who is better known as the "Pregnant Man" who gave birth to 3 of his children in his transition from woman to man, is set to appeal his divorce denial in Arizona because the state does not recognize same sex marriage. He now has a new girlfriend, Amber. In 2003, Beatie married his wife in 2003 in Hawaii, after he had undergone chest surgery to remove his breasts and had legal documentation saying he was a man. Beatie's attorney, David Cantor, believes that the judge is using the fact that Beatie used his female reproductive organs during the marriage against him. Read More »
This morning, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Glasgow, Scotland, to see a homeless shelter and launch a sports program. This is the first day of their two-day tour of the country. In Scotland, the royals are known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn. Kate Middleton hid her growing baby bump under a warm, wool overcoat to stay warm in the Glasgow weather. Throughout the day, the Prince William and his wife will meet with youngsters in Emirates Arena, visit the Quarriers Stopover project, and even have a Skype meeting with two homeless people in the Netherlands. Spain's King Juan Carlos' daughter, Princess Cristina, has officially been named a suspect in a high profile corruption case centered on her husband, former Olympic handball player Inakî Urdangarin, and some questionable foundations. Naming the Spanish royal as a suspect was a dramatic move by investigating magistrate José Castro, who has called upon the princess to give evidence in court in Palma de Mallorca, capital of the Balearic Isles, on April 27. Earlier this week, allegations against Lamar Odom's cancer research funding charity "Cathy's Kids" claimed that instead of its intended purposes, the money has been given to two elite youth basketball teams. Now, Odom's wife, reality television star Khloe Kardashian, has decided to defend her man and his charity, saying Lamar has never spent a dime of the "Cathy's Kids" funds for personal use or gain. 8-year-old Nadine of San Rafael, California, was on a class field trip at the Lawrence Hall of Science last week when a mysterious arrow came out of nowhere and hit the students in the left leg. Nadine had been climbing on a large whale sculpture when she was shot. According to reports and Nadine herself, in order to calm herself in the ambulance she sang Taylor Swift's song "Sparks Fly." Today’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinal match up between Real Madrid CF and Galatasaray AS is definitely going to be exciting, with Madrid favored despite this being a large meeting of acquaintances. Coaches Jose Mourinho and Fatih Terim are old friends and even some members of Galatasaray are familiar with their opposing coach. Louisville basketball player suffered a horrific broken leg injury this Sunday after landing awkwardly on his right leg. After being taken off of the court, the injured Ware called his teammates over to tell them to go and win the game. They did just that. Earlier this week, Shain Gandee, star of MTV's reality television show "Buckwild," was reported missing and then found dead in West Virginia. Shain and two other bodies, including his uncle David, were found in his vehicle after an apparent "mudding" accident. Now officials are coming out with news of the cause of death. The three men had died of carbon monoxide poisoning. In the aftermath, Shain's family is trying to raise funds for the likeable reality star's funeral. Read More »
After a motorcycle accident last August, drummer and husband of country legend Wynonna Judd, Michael "Cactus" Moser had to have his left leg amputated. It has been a long recovery period, but Judd announced backstage at a "Dancing With The Stars" taping that her husband is back up and walking with the help of a prosthetic leg. Read More »

In the upcoming issue of Glamour magazine, Hayden Panettiere finally confirms her rekindled relationship with championship boxer Wladimir Klitschko. Though she used to say that they were just "good buddies," the 23-year-old "Nashville" star now smiles and says, "I think it's pretty obvious. I'm not going to deny it."
