30-year-old "Glee" star Cory Monteith has checked himself into rehab in order to receive treatment for his substance addiction problem. A representative of Monteith stated that he "voluntarily admitted himself into a treatment facility for substance addiction. He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery." 38-year-old actor Mekhi Phifer just married his longtime girlfriend, Reshelet Barnes, in an Easter weekend ceremony yesterday. On Saturday, the two entertained about 100 guests at their reportedly "stunning" wedding at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. 56-year-old documentary filmmaker and director John Upton Jr. was found shot dead on a dirt path on the yard of his Encinitas, California, home on Thursday. His neighbor, 61-year-old Michael Vilkin, was arrested and charged on suspicion of first-degree murder. Vilkin is being held without bail until his pending arraignment on Tuesday. Rehab-bound Lindsay Lohan was spotted in a Sao Paolo, Brazil nightclub this Thursday. I use the word "spotted" because she was hiding under a table that night, making it hard to actually see her enjoying the club. Pictures of this under-the-table tactic were captured on Twitter. A new documentary by Rodney Ascher, Room 237, examines the many theories and supposed hidden meanings behind the Stanley Kubrick's 1980 horror film The Shining. Starring Jack Nicholson as a caretaker of the Overlook Hotel who goes mad and terrorizes his wife and son, countless fans cannot seem to get their minds off of what certain things really meant in the film. During France's 2013 MIPTV on April 8 - 11, a one-hour documentary focusing on Prince William and Kate Middleton's first pregnancy will be touted to buyers. The documentary is titled William, Kate and the Royal Baby and Zodiak Rights, the international division of Zodiak Media, will handle sales. This documentary is expected to coincide with the due date of the prince or princess (still no word?) in July. This special will focus on the worldwide interest in the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during their pregnancy and what is in store for the future monarch they are about to welcome into their family. Jim Carrey has definitely stirred up some controversy with his recent gun control parody video "Cold Dead Hands" on "Funny Or Die," where the Kick Ass 2 actor mocks the NRA and Charlton Heston.
