By kyle-dowling | Apr 06, 2015 12:23 PM EDT

Well, this was very, very (very, very) awkward. Unless, of course, you're like this Jeopardy contestant, Tom, and didn't realize that the legal age of consent in the United States is NOT 12 in girls and 14 in boys. In this below clip of a recent Jeopardy episode, host Alex Trebek is pretty (understandably) stunned when he's given the worst answer possible in the history of his game show. Trebek gave the clue, "In common law, the age of this, signaling adulthood, is presumed to be 14 in boys & 12 in girls." And while the correct answer was puberty, this guy Tom happened to think it was, well, the age of consent. Read More »

In the parody video, the iconic sketch show mocked Scientology's oh, so cheesy jingle and accompanying video from decades ago, which was featured in the HBO doc. Read More »

By kyle-dowling | Apr 02, 2015 04:04 PM EDT

John Mayer certainly is in a nostalgic mood today. Perhaps it is a result of it being Thursday – or 'Throwback Thursday" – but the musician recently took some time to post a couple of photos from the past to his Instagram page. Particularly one of him and an old guitar, which he still plays today, as well as the original scribbling lyrics to his hit song "3x5" off the musician's album Room for Squares. Who would have known from the looks of the little guitar player in the photo that he'd one day reach the heights he has. And of course, who would have thought that he would someday date Katy Perry... and Taylor Swift... and Jessica Simpson... and Jennifer Aniston... and others, of course. Read More »
