Car accidents can’t keep Angelina Jolie down! Following last night’s appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart the actress found herself surrounded by swarms of paparazzi whilst trying to get to her car. During the ever so difficult task, largely due to the screams and shouts from both fans and the cameras, a Jolie-lover appeared to suffer from a panic attack and went over the gate. To that, Brad Pitt’s lovely and oh, so generous wife came to their rescue and even snapped a selfie. Which, of course, made the fan – known only as Techna – feel 100% better. So, not only can she act and direct – like her upcoming film Unbroken – but she’s also a regular Mother Teresa. Talk about brownie points… Read More »
If you filled your evening with some CONAN last night then you met easily one of the top sketches of the week: Christopher Walken calling in DURING his performance as Captain James Hook on NBC’s special, Peter Pan Live. It seems that while Allison Williams was off playing the role of a boy who never wanted to grow up, Walken was apparently delirious, having no clue as to where he was and why he was there. Luckily, his old friend Conan O’Brien was there to help him out just before Jennifer Aniston took to the guest seat and talked about her special necklace in her newest film Horrible Bosses 2. You know, the c*ck ring necklace. Read More »
NBC’s Peter Pan Live! aired last night with Girls star Allison Williams filling the title character and the iconic Christopher Walken playing Captain James Hook. And while much of it has been under fire from fans via Twitter, there appears to be one person who liked it – John Mayer! So much so, in fact, that the ex of Taylor Swift and Katy Perry opted to throw a photo on Instagram to show his support for the “happy” and “pure” performances. Read More »
During last night’s episode of The Colbert Report, host Stephen Colbert welcomed in director Christopher Nolan to discuss his newest Matthew McConaughey-led film Interstellar. Before he could get to his guest, however, the host took some time to announce that his Comedy Central hit has merely ten episodes left before leaving to take over the Late Show spot on CBS. Therefore, he thought it best to “tackle a subject” he’d be avoided for the past nine years whilst in the Report seat: abortion. Yes, at long last Stephen Colbert was about to announce that life begins at – Oh, look, Amy Sedaris showed up! Read More »
Keeping true to his schedule, comedian Jerry Seinfeld just dropped a new episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee earlier today with guest Fred Armisen. The Portlandia star showed the vet Seinfeld lead around the city he loves so dearly (so much so that he created a series about it with Sleater-Kinney lead Carrie Brownstein), Portland. And as usual, it certainly didn’t disappoint – especially because of that surprise bonus piece which included Michael Richards reprising his role as Crackle president Dick Corcoran. Read More »
So far it’s been a good day for Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. Following some remarks and questions about he and BFF Justin Timberlake being “lovers” – a question asked by Martin Short’s Jiminy Glick character – it’s now being reported that the former Saturday Night Live star has welcomed in his second child with wife Nancy. Their newborn daughter was born via surrogate just as their first child, Winnie Rose, was back in July 2013. So we guess Jessica Biel and her baby bump have nothing to worry about, huh? Read More »
Following that very telling story Lady Gaga told during an interview with the legendary Howard Stern, in which she discussed being raped as a teenager, the famed “Born This Way” and “G.U.Y.” singer performed alongside legendary crooner Tony Bennett during the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. The duo, who dropped their alum Cheek to Cheek this past September, performed a wonderful rendition of the hit holiday classic “Winter Wonderland.” Read More »
We knew AMC’s The Walking Dead was based on something real! Turns it out’s based on the mother of a fan who bit a paramedic at a One Direction concert! All we can say is thank the Lord Jesus H. Christ that Tom Cruise does hit own stunts! It’s being reported that the famed actor and spokesperson for Scientology was almost hit by a bus while filming scenes for the upcoming Mission Impossible film. Of course, he wasn’t actually filming while he was nearly hit; he was just crossing the street. Maybe it’s because of all those dating rumors about he and Miranda Kerr? Or, the ones dealing with ex-wife Katie Holmes and Orlando Bloom? Probably not; the guy just wasn’t looking the right way, most likely forgetting that in London, cars drive the other way. Oops! It’s official: Ed Sheeran is Spotify’s most streamed artist of 2014! Sorry, Pharrell, while “Happy” was reportedly the most streamed song, it looks like people couldn’t get enough of the young British singer-songwriter’s newest album, x. And Eminem, no hard feelings, right? After all, you did top the lists in the United States, which is still pretty good. And Katy Perry, you may have been the most streamed female of the year, but it wasn’t enough to beat out Sheeran! Womp, womp, womp… Read More »

The current Ferguson protests - which began as a result of the "no indictment" decision against former Officer Darren Wilson surrounding the murder of unarmed teen Michael Brown - have caused quite a bit of stir in the news these days, especially after a number of St. Louis Rams players sported the "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" gesture during one of their games. And following the St. Louis police asking the NFL the apology for the gesture (in which the Rams' coach basically told them to screw off), there's been much discussion about "black-on-black" crime, something The Daily Show with Jon Stewart easily picked up on. To further the discussion, the Comedy Central hit brought in their Senior Black Correspondent, Larry Wilmore, who will replace Stephen Colbert with The Nightly Show when The Colbert Report ends. If you’re looking for that all-that-is-man kind of guy, look no further than Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews. The former NFL player has made a career out of showing off his masculinity and intimidating exterior. But, shockingly enough, the actor is quite keen and interested in feminism, which is why he not only released a book titled Manhood: How To Be A Better Man––Or Just Live With One back in May of this year, but also acted as the keynote speaker for the 2014 What Makes A Man conference, which discusses masculinity and the endless possibilities for manhood.
