Car accidents can’t keep Angelina Jolie down! Following last night’s appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart the actress found herself surrounded by swarms of paparazzi whilst trying to get to her car. During the ever so difficult task, largely due to the screams and shouts from both fans and the cameras, a Jolie-lover appeared to suffer from a panic attack and went over the gate. To that, Brad Pitt’s lovely and oh, so generous wife came to their rescue and even snapped a selfie. Which, of course, made the fan – known only as Techna – feel 100% better. If you filled your evening with some CONAN last night then you met easily one of the top sketches of the week: Christopher Walken calling in DURING his performance as Captain James Hook on NBC’s special, Peter Pan Live. It seems that while Allison Williams was off playing the role of a boy who never wanted to grow up, Walken was apparently delirious, having no clue as to where he was and why he was there. During last night’s episode of The Colbert Report, host Stephen Colbert welcomed in director Christopher Nolan to discuss his newest Matthew McConaughey-led film Interstellar. Before he could get to his guest, however, the host took some time to announce that his Comedy Central hit has merely ten episodes left before leaving to take over the Late Show spot on CBS. Keeping true to his schedule, comedian Jerry Seinfeld just dropped a new episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee earlier today with guest Fred Armisen. The Portlandia star showed the vet Seinfeld lead around the city he loves so dearly (so much so that he created a series about it with Sleater-Kinney lead Carrie Brownstein), Portland. So far it’s been a good day for Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. Following some remarks and questions about he and BFF Justin Timberlake being “lovers” – a question asked by Martin Short’s Jiminy Glick character – it’s now being reported that the former Saturday Night Live star has welcomed in his second child with wife Nancy. It’s being reported that the famed actor and spokesperson for Scientology was almost hit by a bus while filming scenes for the upcoming Mission Impossible film. Of course, he wasn’t actually filming while he was nearly hit; he was just crossing the street. Maybe it’s because of all those dating rumors about he and Miranda Kerr? The current Ferguson protests - which began as a result of the "no indictment" decision against former Officer Darren Wilson surrounding the murder of unarmed teen Michael Brown - have caused quite a bit of stir in the news these days, especially after a number of St. Louis Rams players sported the "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" gesture during one of their games. And following the St. Louis police asking the NFL the apology for the gesture (in which the Rams' coach basically told them to screw off), there's been much discussion about "black-on-black" crime, something The Daily Show with Jon Stewart easily picked up on.
