It’s crazy to think that the two cities that have brought us “porn valley” (Los Angeles) and urine-stained sidewalks (New York City) can’t handle a little riding-of-the-line in their billboards… but apparently that seems to be the case. After announcing earlier this year that House’s Lisa Edelstein will star in Bravo’s first ever-scripted dramedy, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, the Real Housewives of New Jersey – the famed home of the now-jailed Teresa Giudice – network is getting ready to make their shift to scripted TV – because reality television isn’t scripted, of course. Former Tonight Show host Jay Leno - who made headlines for leaving the show twice: once following a feud with Conan O'Brien and another after being replaced by Jimmy Fallon - has been doing quite a bit of promotion to talk up his new CNBC program Jay Leno's Garage. Just last week, the comedian was a guest on Fallon's Tonight Show. And now, he has been announced as Craig Ferguson's final guest on CBS' Late Late Show. Of course, we haven't seen Leno stop by David Letterman's Late Show (which will soon be Stephen Colbert's program) to promote the series... yet, at least. Read More »

It would appear safe to say that Olivia Munn’s road to stardom has been a rather interesting one. The actress kicked off her career studying journalism, then moved to playing a faux reporter for Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and finally a fictional journalist on HBO’s The Newsroom opposite Dumb and Dumber To’s Jeff Daniels. So, we guess you could say that journalism was always in Munn’s blood… just not enough to do it for a living, of course. After months of refurbishing comedian Jerrod Carmichael’s deal, it looks like NBC is FINALLY ready to move forward on a multi-camera series inspired by the comic’s material. Carmichael, who appeared in the Seth Rogen-Zac Efron led film Neighbors earlier this year, will reportedly create and star in the series with Neighbors’ director Nick Stoller writing the script. HBO’s Real Time host Bill Maher was, and is still, scheduled to present the commencement speech at Berkeley this coming December. But after some comments Maher made during his recent debate with Gone Girl star Ben Affleck back on Oct. 3, some students at the university decided to start a petition of Change.org that aims to stop Maher from speaking at the UC Berkeley graduation.
