So, not only are various networks and venues ditching Bill Cosby following his crazy number of rape allegations against him, but also it seems his very own peers are taking him down. Following a tweet from comedian Sarah Silverman just last week, famed Roseanne star and creator Roseanne Barr took to Twitter to poke fun at the situation in a different way. It looks like HBO is gearing up to touch on the subject that we’re all oh, so fascinated in: scientology! It’s being reported that the network will air a documentary that acts as an in-depth look at the Church of Scientology as well as its influence on some of the biggest names in Hollywood. The doc will be based on the book Going Clear: Scientology, Hollywood and the Prison of Belief, written by author Lawrence Wright and will offer detailed explanations of the churches doings, most of which revealed by longtime Church member and Academy Award-winning writer-director Paul Haggis. Back in 2012, there was talk that Taylor Swift was in line to play folk’s own Joni Mitchell in a silver screen biopic based on the book Girls Like Us, which chronicles the influence the folk legend, as well as Carol King and Carly Simon, had on the music industry. All the while, the 1989 singer admitted that she’d be totally down to play Mitchell, but nothing had been solidified. Why? Fans of the Dave Matthews Band always look forward to summer. Not only because of the warm weather and beautiful beaches but also because the iconic rock band makes their annual summer concert tour. And this past summer was certainly no different, though it DID have a little spin –– the #DMB2Set. Yes, taking to the stage after 20 years of being a group, the now legendary jam band decided to switch things up a bit and delight the crowds with a different kind of opening act, which was them performing a shortened acoustic set before the killer performances we've grown to know over the years. And now, the group is taking to their Instagram account to remember what good fun they had this past summer. We’d all probably agree that actor Johnny Depp has made some interesting career choices throughout his days in Hollywood – most of which have been well worth it. Of course, not all are wins, leaving many wanting more. And while he might put on that cool, non-caring conduct on the outside, it seems Depp cares more about his films than we initially suspected. Which is a good thing, of course.
