If you didn't catch Saturday Night Live this past Saturday, Nov. 15, with guest host Woody Harrelson, then you totally missed out. Easily one of the best SNL episodes the network has churned out in quite some time, it all started with the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 star's monologue, which featured his fellow cast members Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. Back in February of this year, the entertainment industry lost a powerhouse of talent in Philip Seymour Hoffman when he died from a drug mix. The actor, who had appeared in the previous Hunger Games film was reportedly filming scenes for Mockingjay, and had just two left – both of which included dialogue for the two-part film. His death left director Francis Lawrence at a loss for what to do. It’s now being reported that the director refused to use CGI to replace Hoffman, opting to rewrite instead. Read More »
Season 2 of HBO's The Comeback returned to the network just last week (Sunday, Nov. 9). Earlier tonight, episode 2 aired and displayed the return of Jane! Played by actress Laura Silverman, Jane stood as the eyes and ears of The Comeback (in the show) throughout Season 1 - somewhat acting as the audience to a degree. During tonight's episode, we find her character rather reluctant to get back into the swing of things, mainly due to the harsh reality of Hollywood. Regardless, either with her immense charm or unbelievable persistence, Valerie manages to bring Jane back to the team to shoot some BTS (that's behind the scenes!) footage of her new series Seeing Red. Last night’s induction ceremony from Asbury Park’s Convention Hall was a star-studded event. From The Sopranos stars Vincent Pastore, Tony Sirico, Vincent Curatola and Aida Turturro to NBC Nightly News host Brian Williams – and his surprise presenter Bruce Springsteen (!!!!) – Thursday night’s even proved one thing… Jersey Pride runs strong throughout its resident’s veins! After comedian Hannibal Buress had some not-so-great (but apparently truthful) things to say about legendary comic Bill Cosby, the world has pretty much turned against the famed Cosby Show star.
