Carinval cruises have not had a good few months. The Carnival Cruise Lines have been the butt of jokes and ridicule after their Carnival Triumph ship was stuck at sea for five days. An engine fire while in the Gulf of Mexico left over 4,000 people stranded for more than five days. Just last week the Carnival Dream's backup emergency diesel generator failed resulting in problems with the ship's elevators and toilets. As a result, the over 4,000 passengers were flown home and the Dream's next trip was cancelled. Now, Carnival Cruise Lines is going to be doing some serious maintenance to their troubled ship lines. Nine Inch Nails fans will be thrilled to find out that the band's documentary titled "Self Destruct" has been posted online. The full 75 minute long documentary from their "Self Destruct" tour documents the bands travels from 1994 to 1996. The Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas is well known for their protests and "God Hates Fags" slogan. It looks like the church's neighbors are going to be putting on their own protest by painting the colors of the Gay Pride Flag on their house. Major news network CNN made their own headlines recently with their coverage of the Steubenville High School rape case involving two star high school football players in Ohio. CNN decided to paint the rapists put on trial in a sympathetic light, which obviously enraged many people. The report by CNN was an obvious blunder, not unlike one you would find by news satire site The Onion. It turns out The Onion actually created a satire based news report almost two years ago on their show "SportsDome" that looks and feels eerily similar to the way CNN handled the Stuebenville news. Get ready late night talk show fans, because it looks like NBC and Jay Leno are about to find themselves back in the news headlines again. In a bit of irony, "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno made fun of NBC executives during his opening monologue Monday March 18 by basically calling them snakes. Some may say Leno is a snake, namely former "Tonight Show" host Conan O'Brien, but it looks like rumors of Leno's exit are starting to get to the late night host and NBC executives. Read More »
Lady Gaga knows how to recover from surgery in style. The "Born This Way" singer is rolling around in her black leather, 24-karat gold wheelchair while recovering from the hip surgery that forced her to cancel her 2013 "Born This Way Ball" tour. There is good news for Gaga's "little monsters" though. According to Gaga's manager Vincent Herbert, the singer will not be changing her on stage performance and dance routine once she returns. Katie Holmes aka Tom Cruise's ex wife is on the cover of the latest Allure magazine. The actress opens up to Allure in the magazine's April issue about her relationship with Cruise, their six-year-old daughter Suri, and her plans for 2013. It looks like a Twitter feud is brewing between Keyshia Cole and Beyonce, even though right now it's a one sided fight. Beyonce just released a brand new track titled "Bow Down/I Been On," which has been causing quite the stir. Season 14 for NBC's hit reality show "The Biggest Loser" may have been one of the best seasons yet. In 2013, NBC decided to switch things up and for the first time ever include three kids on the show in an effort to fight childhood obesity. The kids weren't involved in the actual competition for "The Biggest Loser Challenge America," but the show came down to three final contestants.
