Carinval cruises have not had a good few months. The Carnival Cruise Lines have been the butt of jokes and ridicule after their Carnival Triumph ship was stuck at sea for five days. An engine fire while in the Gulf of Mexico left over 4,000 people stranded for more than five days. Just last week the Carnival Dream's backup emergency diesel generator failed resulting in problems with the ship's elevators and toilets. Major news network CNN made their own headlines recently with their coverage of the Steubenville High School rape case involving two star high school football players in Ohio. CNN decided to paint the rapists put on trial in a sympathetic light, which obviously enraged many people. The report by CNN was an obvious blunder, not unlike one you would find by news satire site The Onion. It turns out The Onion actually created a satire based news report almost two years ago on their show "SportsDome" that looks and feels eerily similar to the way CNN handled the Stuebenville news. Season 14 for NBC's hit reality show "The Biggest Loser" may have been one of the best seasons yet.
