After months of refurbishing comedian Jerrod Carmichael’s deal, it looks like NBC is FINALLY ready to move forward on a multi-camera series inspired by the comic’s material. Carmichael, who appeared in the Seth Rogen-Zac Efron led film Neighbors earlier this year, will reportedly create and star in the series with Neighbors’ director Nick Stoller writing the script. HBO’s Real Time host Bill Maher was, and is still, scheduled to present the commencement speech at Berkeley this coming December. But after some comments Maher made during his recent debate with Gone Girl star Ben Affleck back on Oct. 3, some students at the university decided to start a petition of Change.org that aims to stop Maher from speaking at the UC Berkeley graduation. Chris Rock is finally heading back to Saturday Night Live! The comedian’s hosting gig comes in order to promote his newest film Top Five, which is set to be released this coming Dec. 5. Much of the world has been smitten over the current World Series games between the San Francisco Giants and the Kansas City Royals.
