According to a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the fifth season of ABC's hit family comedy Modern Family could possibly feature a wedding between the show's gay couple Cameron Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson). The series' co-creator, Christopher Lloyd told EW, "It's a real possibility." Last season the ACLU were pushing for the show to write in a gay wedding for the two characters, saying that it would be "important" "politically," but it did not happen. But with this week's Supreme Court ruling on DOMA and Prop 8, the marriage of Cameron and Mitchell is definitely on the minds of the show's cast and crew. Read More »
27-year-old Nine Mile Falls, Washington, resident Jason Hart has been arrested on second-degree murder charges in the killing of his girlfriend Regan Jolley. Despite this already being a harrowing story, details of the murder make it even more terrible. According to Hart's roommate, Dean Settle, Jolley's naked body was found in a tub of acid with a DVD of a season 1 episode of AMC's show Breaking Bad queued up on Hart's television. The episode in question (entitled "Cat's in the Bag") features a scene with a dead body in a tub full of acid, leading to the claim that Hart was inspired by the show when trying to dispose of the body. Justin Bieber is slowly getting away from some controversial car incidents and has even reportedly found a new girlfriend in Jordan Ozuna after some on-again, off-again action with Selena Gomez. So things seem to be going pretty well for the international pop star. Luckily, Jimmy Kimmel felt the need to have some fun with controversial issues surrounding Bieber by making up some of his own. In a recent photo shoot for Rob Kardashian's designer sock line, Anthony George, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashian's" star used his younger half-sisters as models and it was maybe the best idea he has ever had. Kendall Jenner (17) has already started her career in modeling and Kylie Jenner (15) has also done some modeling but doesn't want a career in the industry. So getting both of the gorgeous teens to model the creative socks with a handful of other models was easy publicity for Arthur George. Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik got new tattoos earlier this week and thanks to artist Paul Natale, fans on Twitter have been enjoying some pictures of the new ink and the boys in the parlor. Malik and Tomlinson already had plenty of tattoos (as does One Direction band mate Harry Styles) but it looks like they want to keep adding to their body art. It's funny how a cryptic answer to a simple question can spark casting rumors when it comes to one of the most highly anticipated films of recent years. With Star Wars: Episode VII reportedly starting production in 2014, fans have been waiting to hear pretty much anything in terms of the new cast and characters. Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson recently wrote a memoir entitled Mo' Meta Blues and he went onto "The Daily Show with John Stewart" last night as part of promoting the book. Host John Oliver (filling in for Stewart as he directs a film) sat down with the drummer of The Roots to talk about the book and specific parts that stood out. Oliver mentions that Mo'Meta Blues features a story involving roller-skating with musician Prince and has a ton of funny footnotes from manager Richard Nichols. Fans of David Lynch's work ("Twin Peaks," Mulholland Drive, etc.) know that music has always been a huge influence and passion for the visionary writer and director. When he released his 2011 debut album, Crazy Clown Time, people were given the first taste of Lynch's musical original musical vision. Now with The Big Dream hitting stores on July 16, 2013, on Sacred Bones records, Lynch has been sharing newer songs. The Dismemberment Plan had a 10-year career running from 1993 to 2003 and then disbanded until 2007 for some benefit concerts. In 2011, they came back for a full reunion tour and now they just announced their follow up album to 2001's Change. To promote her new music video for her latest single, "You Can't Stop," Miley Cyrus went on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for an interview segment and to perform two songs as well. The host asked Miley to break down her video for his audience and also poked fun at her outfit (or lack-there-of). Miley showed up wearing a cut-off top, flannel jacket, and shorts that made it look like she forgot to wear bottoms at all.
