In a recent interview with TVLine, "Happy Endings" creator David Caspe and executive producer Jonathan Groff revealed that USA was very close to picking up the recently canceled comedy. Although there will not be any special panels at this year's Comic-Con for Star Wars: Episode VII, the bi-annual Disney convention, D23 Expo, will be debuting Star Wars to the Disney world. Running from August 9 - 11, D23 Expo will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California and will introduce the J.J. Abrams-directed project as a main attraction for the convention. Though most fans are disappointed that there won't be any panels at Comic-Con, this specialized Expo might serve as the unveiling of cast members and plot details for the highly anticipated movie! Meredith Kercher was murdered in 2007 and her roommate Amanda Knox was accused of the crime along with her boyfriend at the time, Raffale Sollecito. The two were convicted and sentenced to jail but were released about 4 years later after the rulings were overturned and they were acquitted of the crime. But in March of 2013 a retrial was ordered due to "deficiencies, contradictions and illogical" in the acquittal case. Kate Middleton's actual due date has still not been confirmed, but many reports are saying that it could be tomorrow, July 11. That said, the world is on "Royal Baby Watch" these days and are anticipating the arrival of the future heir to the throne. Sting, who used to front the 1980s rock n' roll trio The Police, has just announced that he will be performing 10 exclusive shows this fall featuring songs off of his first album in 10 years, The Last Ship. These performances will also be the only times to hear these songs performed live by Sting, and the concert series will be called "An Evening With Sting." With Star Wars: Episode VII reportedly stating production in early 2014, fans are still waiting for news on the characters involved with the film and what actors will be portraying them. J.J. Abrams and producers have apparently ruled out the possibility of using the Jaina and Jacen Solo from the "Expanded Universe" book series, but a recent casting call list makes it seem like they are indeed part of the film. The bombings at the Boston Marathon on Patriot's Day (April 15, 2013) and the resulting manhunt for the culprits rocked the nation in many ways. Writer Casey Sherman and Boston Herald reporter Dave Wedge are set to release a book entitled "Boston Strong," which focuses on the city's reaction as well as the hunt for the suspected Tsarnaev brothers. This book is expected to be released in 2014, but Oscar-nominated screenwriters Eric Johnson and Paul Tamasy - the writing team behind The Fighter - are set to adapt the book into a film and have picked up the rights to do so. Prince William and his wife Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, are in their final week of life without a child and the whole world is buzzing with anticipation. The United Kingdom's iTunes Festival has just added some new attractions for the September 1 - 30 musical event. Elton John, Robin Thicke, Arctic Monkeys and the Pixies have joined to long list of performers that also includes Kings of Leon, Justin Timberlake, Sigur Ros, Paramore, Queens of the Stone Age and Vampire Weekend. The festival, which was launched in 2007, used to take place in July but has since moved to September starting in 2012. Tickets for this incredible event are organized in a lottery system and these special performances will also be available for viewing via online streaming. Read More »
