The 4th addition to the billion-dollar "Jurassic Park" movie franchise has named its new director! Universal Pictures announced Thursday that Hollywood newcomer Colin Trevorrow will direct the 3-D dinosaur film "Jurassic Park 4," while Steven Spielberg will be the executive producer. The first two successful movies in the $1.9 billion worldwide franchise were directed by Spielberg, who announced back in 2011 that a fourth film was in development, according to Reuters. There has been much speculation about whether he would direct "Jurassic Park 4" himself ever since the announcement, but Universal put the rumors to rest by bringing Trevorrow on board. Jurassic Park IV will be the 36-year-old filmmaker's first mega-budget movie for a major studio, let alone his first venture into 3-D, E! News notes. This deal, announced Thursday, gives Island Records control of radio promotion and U.S. sales for music producer/DJ Afrojack's newest single "As Your Friend," featuring Chris Brown, which is set for radio release through Wall Recordings/Island Records in the US this week, states The Hollywood Reporter. Theater producer and nightclub founder Sybil Christopher was 83 when she died, reports Associated Press. It wasn't until her husband had an affair left her for the "Golden Age" actress that she found success in her career in 1963. US Weekly reports that, fifteen years after ending his run as Tim Allen's second-oldest son on the 1990s sitcom Home Improvement, Jonathan Taylor Thomas is reuniting with his former TV dad on Allen's new show, Last Man Standing. Although Jonathan's appearance was previously reported last month, the airdate was finally revealed along with pictures of JTT on set.
