Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran were performing at Newark, New Jersey's Prudential Center when there apparently was a bit of a glitch in the show. Swift was performing the song "Everything Has Changed" with British singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran when things seemed to go wrong. Richard Griffiths, best known for his role in the "Harry Potter" movies as Uncle Vernon died at the age of 65. The British actor was said to have passed from complications following heart surgery. The actor was also well known for his work as Monty in the 1987 film "Withnail and I." Last night, another contestant was sent home on season 12 of "American Idol," bringing the remaining total number singers down to seven. Wednesday night the competitors sang Motown songs from Detroit and most did a solid job; however, the male singers continued to fall behind the females. This especially became true when the three remaining males butchered their rendition of The Temptations' "I Can't Help Myself" to the dismay of Nicki Minaj and the rest of the judges. Even though it doesn't look as though Britney Spears is returning to the "X-Factor" fellow judge Demi Lovato will be coming back for a third season of the singing reality show. Fellow judge Simon Cowell confirmed that Lovato will indeed be back as a judge on FOX's "X-Factor."
