Tonight (Thursday March 28) is the live voting results show for the top eight contestants on season 12 of "American Idol." The singers all performed last night in front of the judges and a live audience giving one last shot at trying to convince viewers they deserve to move on into the top seven. As usual, Candice Glover, Amber Holcomb, and Kree Harrison were the top singers last night further solidifying their status as the front runners to win season 12. However, after Wednesday night's Motown performances, there were a couple male singers who I think may be in trouble tonight. AMC's hit drama "The Walking Dead" is coming to an end of its third season and by the sound of it, there is going to be a lot of blood. The season 3 finale, "Welcome to the Tombs," will air Sunday night March 31. According to reports, episode 16 could be a bloody mess. Coming off the success of "The Amazing Spider Man" starring Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, Marvel Studios is sure to have another blockbuster on their hands with the May 2, 2014 release of "The Amazing Spider Man 2." Apparently a lot of people are up in arms over movie star Jim Carrey's recent gun control video for Funny or Die. The 'Dumb and Dumber' actor mocked the late Charlton Heston and the NRA in the comedic video "Cold Dead Hand." Carrey's anti-gun video has drawn the ire of right-wing Conservative commentators, specifically FOX News host Greg Gutfeld, who responded with a passionate rant on "The Five." Last night's "American Idol" was a salute to the Motor City. The Motown music night was another chance for the remaining eight "Idol" contestants to show fans they have what it takes to be the season 12 "American Idol."
